A Nigerian man is currently trending on social media after traveling all the way from Lagos to Kebbi state, to propose to his girlfriend. He said he would have loved to travel by air but he did not have enough money.
Identified as Prince Roland Dosunmu, the young man took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday, February 14, to share his proposal story. He did not begin his story from the finished line but took his time to narrate how he planned it.
Dosunmu also took his time to reply messages from some of his followers, who were asking him what if his girlfriend is on Twitter seeing all these messages. He replied saying neither his woman nor her friends make use of the application.

He shared the picture of the proposal ring with the caption: “23 HOURS ON THE ROAD FROM LAGOS TO KEBBI TO ASK JUST 1 SIMPLE QUESTION. SHES NOT AWARE I'M IN THE SAME STREET WITH HER THIS MIDNIGHT... SERIOUSLY NERVOUS... BOOT MY MORALE GUYS.”

Dosunmu who promised to update his followers about how the proposal went, took is time to thank all those who made it the proposal a success. This was done after his girlfriend said YES.
His post reads: “MET THE EVENT PLANNERS, PLANS SOLIDLY IN MOTION.... UTARAN AND CHICHI... DON'T BOTHER SEARCHING FOR THEM ON TWITTER THEY DON'T TWEET AND THEIR FACEBOOK NAMES ARE EXTRA COMPLICATED. UPDATING TONIGHT MY TWITTER ACCT HAS NEVER BEEN THIS ACTIVE PATIENCE. MY HEART HAS BEEN BEATING DOUBLE FOR HOURS NOW. LIKE A LAMB TO BE SLAYED I'M OFF TO THE RESTAURANT TO MEET WITH MY DESTINY.
