Nigerian-made electric switch floods Sudan, sellers allegedly prefer it because of its durability

While the current reputation of Nigeria to the outside world is not exactly favourable, there are still reasons to celebrate the country, according to Bashir Ahmad.

In a country like Nigeria where a lot of fake and substandard goods have flooded the market, most people would rather foreign made products. There is a general belief is that anything with the tag 'made in Nigeria' is never durable.

However, there have been attempts at changing this negative narrative hence the 'Grow The Naira' movement that is gradually becoming very strong in the country. Perhaps it is in this light that the personal assistant to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has come out to share his experience in Sudan.

According to his post, a man identified as Aliyu Bose was in Sudan and he tried to buy an electric switch board. He went on to ask for the best and to his surprise, he was offered a Nigerian-made product.
