It is no longer news that on February 14, every year people all over the world celebrate their loved ones. This day has been tagged Valentine’s Day and lovers go the extra mile in making their partner happy.
On this special day while some are busy receiving gifts from their loved ones, some single ladies and guys are left to spend the day all alone without receiving gifts from anyone.
NAIJ.com decided to create poll to find out how single guys and ladies can celebrate themselves on Valentine’s Day. Some concluded that people should cultivate the habit of buying gifts for themselves.

One Justinah Gabriella Abisola said: “If nobody get you a Val gift tomorrow, walk into any gift store of your choice, buy something special, wrap it specially, then write on it ‘For my Sweetheart’. Hide it under your pillow. Pretend to go out and then come back inside. Check under your pillow, you would find a gift waiting for you from the best human that can love you. People may tell you that you are deceiving yourself, tell them you are celebrating yourself.”

Elizabeth Ezeji also disclosed that: “Before l got married, on every valentine day, l buy a beautiful flower or beautiful frame and l pray to Jesus and thank God for his love upon me and my family. I present this gift and tell him thank you for loving me. I always hang this gift near where l sleep. I then go out and buy nice things and share with my family, no matter how little. It was not long before God handed me over to a loving and kind man whose birthday is on 14th of February to be celebrating my val with funny but the truth.”
