It was an emotional moment for Victoria as her years of toiling and struggling to take care of herself with her two siblings are long over. Her help from God came in the form of the Rochas Foundation.
The foundation, while celebrating their 20th anniversary, decided to do a giveaway by scouting for the worst case of people living in hardship in a certain village in Imo state. It was during their search that the discovered Victoria and her siblings.
Victoria who emerged star prize winner of the #Rochasfoundation 20th Anniversary giveaway, lost her father in 2002 in a car accident and later lost her mother to kidney disease in 2012. Since then, together with her two younger siblings, they had to beg for food. She couldn’t further her education.
In her words: “I had lost all hopes, nobody was willing to help me and my two siblings, nobody wanted to associate with us. For years, we suffered terribly without help”
Now a proud owner of a brand new car for taxi business which would be managed for her, a beautifully furnished house and 2.7m chilling in the bank, one thing is certain; her life and that of her siblings will never be the same again.
To add to these great prizes, her younger sister was also given full free education from primary to university.
