There is joy and merriment in the palace of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III has his young wives gave birth to twins a week apart.
The second to the last wife, Olori Memunat, has taken to her Instagram handle to share beautiful pictures from the naming ceremony of her twin girls. The ceremony was reportedly held in the palace.
Queen Memunat on Friday, March 2, described how joyful she is being the mother of these pretty little angels she has just been blessed with.

She shared gorgeous pictures from the naming ceremony with the caption: “I'm always proud of many things in life but nothing beat being a mother of these precious TWINS.”

The Alaafin of Oyo has lovely children that are doing wonderfully well for themselves, across different spheres of life.
One is Prince Akeem Adeyemi, the two-term chairman of Atiba local government and the present honorable representing Afijio/Oyo East/ Oyo West/ Atiba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Another is Princess Adetutu Adeyemi-Akhigbe, the honorable commissioner of culture in Governor Ajimobi’s first term and Princess Folasade Adeyemi, a cultural ambassador and CEO, Arewa House of Culture.

It was earlier reported that on Monday, February 26, Alaafin of Oyo’s youngest wife Olori Badirat also gave birth to twin boys. The royal family is truly blessed.
