Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has thrown a jibe back at Manchester United and Ashley Young following their 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage clash on Tuesday, March 13.
Two second half goals from Wissam Ben Yedder saw the Premier League outfit crash out of the tournament, while Romelu Lukaku’s 84th minute was a mere consolation.
Young had trolled the Egyptian on Instagram after United defeated the Reds on Saturday, March 10, in the Premier League encounter, which stretched their lead on the table to five points over their arch rivals.

Young was praised for the way he handled the former AS Roma striker and he posted a picture of himself on his Instagram story with his arms out, saying:"Stop asking me! He's not in my pocket, I swear he's not."

Salah now seems to be having the last laugh following his side’s progress to the quarterfinals of this year's championship on 5-0 aggregate over Porto.
Joining the Egyptian to mock the Red Devils after their shocking display on Tuesday night, United fans have called for Mourinho to be axed after an extremely dull display at Old Trafford.
However, Salah is still in contention for the Premier League highest goal scorers’ award at the end of the season – with 24 goals, same as Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.
While Manchester City’s duo of Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling are third and fourth with 21 and 15 goals respectively.
Salah joined Liverpool from AS Roma last summer after his first spell in the Premier League with Chelsea was unfruitful.
