Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has poured huge praises on Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea saying he is the best in the world.
The 27-year-old United goalkeeper has been in an highly impressive form this season, keeping 19 clean sheets in all competitions.
The Spanish international was in inspired form in the Champions League last 16 first leg against Sevilla.
While speaking about about De Gea's performance in the first leg of United clash with Sevilla, De Gea said: “Well I think the biggest compliment I can pay him is I hate him,” he explained on BT Sport.

“So do all Liverpool fans.
“He’s world class, some of the saves he’s made. He has no right to make some of them saves.
“He makes difficult shots look really easy, which is what world-class keepers do.
“I don’t really go off the stats or the graphs, I go off my eyes.
“You can look at them and change them and twist them whatever way you want.
“He probably is the best keeper in the world at this present time.”
