Maurizio Sarri and Max Allegri are among the contenders to replace the Italian, but if the Blues cannot catch up to Tottenham, a lack of Champions League football could limit their chances - especially if Arsenal qualify through the Europa League.

Petit thinks Wenger could head to PSG not in a managerial capacity, but as a go between for incoming coach Thomas Tuchel and owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
