Brazil international Fred has arrived at Manchester United's Carrington training ground to undergo a medical.
The Shaktar Donestk midfielder is close to completing a £52m move from Ukrainian side to join Jose Mourinho's at Old Trafford.
Sources from Brazil confirmed last night that the midfielder was granted permission to leave the international camp after the 2-1 victory over Croatia to undergo the medical.

Mourinho is keen to complete the deal before Fred the start of the Russia 2018 World Cup in a couple of days.
United city rivals and Premier League champions Manchester City were linked to Fred in January, but the move failed to materialize.
Fred was made a second half appearance for Brazil's pre-World Cup friendly against Croatia at Anfield.
The 24-year-old midfielder is expected to return for the final friendly against Austria After undergoing the medical with United.
The Selecao will then face Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica in the group stages in football's biggest showpiece.

Fred joined Shakhtar in 2013 for £10m from Internacional in Brazilian Primeira Liga where he was a two-time Campeonato Gaucho champion.
Since then, Fred has been a regular with the Moles, helping them claim two league titles, two domestic cups and three Super Cups, as well as featuring in both the Champions League and the Europa League.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Jose Mourinho wants the move for Fred completed before the start of the World Cup.
