Chelsea to rival Atletico Madrid for the signature of highly rated Monaco superstar this summer

Premier League campaigners Chelsea have jumped in the chase to sign AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar this summer according to Telefoot.

The Blues finished outside of the top four teams on the English topflight table in the 2017-18 league season, which means they will be campaigning in the Europe League next term.

Though they had a relatively bad season, they still managed to win the English FA Cup title after beating Manchester United in the final on May 19.
