A judge has ruled that two brothers be put up for adoption because they slept in the same bed as their mother.

Child service workers found bruises on the bodies of the boys, who are both under four years old.
During the court it was proved that the injuries the children sustained was inflicted during ‘co-sleeping’ and the rough manner the parents handled the children.

More investigation concluded that one of the boys suffered a broken wrist when they were just months old.
The judge ordered that child services supervise and support the family to see if any child neglect was happening and prevent if possible. The mother failed to follow the judge’s order of not ‘co-sleeping’ with her children, which resulted in the children getting minor injuries.

He made the verdict during a private hearing after the report from social services provided him with enough evidence that the mother failed to follow court orders in addition to rejecting any advice from the social service workers.
The judge stated that he was concerned for the safety of the children and that in their case adoption seems like the best option.
