Woman who took her husband to a prophetess for prayers has accused her of trying to steal her from him.
A South African woman identified as Thembeni Mzolo, claims that after she took her husband to a prophetess for prayers, her husband has refused to come home.
Thembeni Mzolo claims a prophetess is trying to take her husband away
According to 60-year-old Thembeni, her husband, 63-year-old Simon Mzolo, met the prophetess when she took him down the street in their Empangeni Village in Umzinto, South Africa, for prayers after he fell sick in 2010. She has reportedly not seen him again since then.
She said:
“I trusted that prophet with my life, but I shouldn’t have trusted her with my husband. That was the last time I heard from Simon. That woman stole my husband away. I don’t know if that woman used muthi (magic) to help steal my husband. I didn’t know she was a man snatcher. The pain I feel can’t be explained. I don’t know what to do.”

Thembeni who has four children and seven grandchildren with Simon, said:
“He doesn’t even buy them a packet of chips, while buying groceries for the children of this new woman. In our 38 years of marriage he has never been unfaithful.”
Simon claims he's just 'enjoying himself' with the prophetess
Giving his own side of the story, Simon who didn't bother to deny his affair with the prophetess identified as Mama Viona Maduna, said:
“My wife fought with me a lot and that is why I have moved away from her. But I don’t want to divorce her and I don’t want to take Mama Maduna as my second wife.”
He claims he still supports his family financially, and that he's just enjoying himself with the prophetess.
Prophetess Maduna confirmed her relationship with Simon Mzolo
59-year-old Maduna admitted that they were in a relationship, but says they are in love and she didn't have to use magic. She said:
“I can’t explain how we fell for each other but I certainly didn’t use magic. I’m not eating any of his money. We’re just having fun."
