- The internet has been buzzing with the tweet of an African-American poet
- Clint Smith took to Twitter to share the meal his mother-inlaw prepared for Thanksgiving
- Apparently, his mother-inlaw is Nigerian and he loved every bit of what she prepared
It is safe to say Nigerian food can be seen as a brand that has since achieved international fame. The power of the jollof rice for one, seems to be growing stronger as the days go by. And even the famous Ghana jollof vs Nigerian jollof contest always ends with Nigeria emerging the winner every time.
Smith is a witness that can attest to this fact. The African-American poet took to his Twitter to share what his Nigerian mother-in-law prepared for Thanksgiving.
The poet who is also an author said that having jollof rice, oxtail, suya, and egusi soup for Thanksgiving has changed the whole game and that he can never go back.
