A patriotic Nigerian man has made his country proud far away in Tokyo. Saheed Serra disclosed that over the years Nigeria has been seen as a bad place which made him come up with something that would change people’s mindset.
Serra made his presentation at the Tokyo multicultural festival. He added that he was the only African nominated for that presentation.
The young man exclusively disclosed that 19 embassies had the opportunity to participate and to also showcase their cultures. He added that the festival was organized by the International Family Federation in conjunction with UPF, MEF and others.

Serra said: “The festival is called Tokyo multicultural festival, 19 embassies participated and made presentations relating to their culture. It was organized by the International Family Federation in conjunction with UPF, MEF, WFWP, YSP and some other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). I am a member and the only black in my branch. I have made this presentation before at a similar local seminal and conference. I was the only African nominated for this presentation in Tokyo Multicultural Festival 2017. I seized the opportunity to showcase Nigeria in order to change the thinking of international community about my country because our image is bad all over the world. I have been doing this alone for the past two years as I try to persuade foreign diplomats in my group and my international group locally about the good things about Nigeria. I also want to make use of this opportunity to pass the good message about Nigeria to the world.”
