Man recounts his experience with some naval officers who allegedly knocked him down in Lagos

- A young Nigerian man recently took to the social media platform to share his horrible experience in the hands of some naval officers

- According to the story, he was knocked down and further assaulted by these men in uniform

- This would be one among many stories of people who have fallen victim to unfair treatment by officers of the law

The issue of unjust treatments meted out by supposed officers of law has continue to be a constant occurrence in the country today. Just recently, NAIJ.com reported the news of how a Nigerian lady recounted her bitter experience in the hands of some police officers. According to her, they harassed her right in front of her home and even went ahead to destroy her phone.

While this is a rather appalling incident, yet another Nigerian man has come out to share his own gruesome experience with some naval officers in Lagos state. Identified as McProsper Kent Asolukah, he took to his Twitter page to recount how he was knocked down by these officers and when he tried to speak up, he was hit by one of the unapologetic officers before they drove off.

He wrote: "So this Naval officer knock our bike down @mile 2 while trying to cross lanes without track gating and they still tried intimidating the bike man even when the road safety official already told him he was at fault. I had to speak up and one of them hit me and broke my glasses. "While he tried to force me into his car. The annoying part was the female cadet with him was insisting they should drive off that we can't do more than a dead rat since it was only minor bruises and nobody died."

This is a #ShitHoleNigeria experience as they wanted to collect my phone cos I tried recording the incidence. I got the car number tho EFE 453 EC. I don't think SARS is our only problem. Although the officer driving tried to apologize but his fellow officers acted unruly. #crazynavalofficers "

On the brighter note, it appears justice is been served to some police officers as they were recently dismissed from the force. According to reports, they breached the rules of engagement and were found guilty of reckless application of firearms leading to the death of a young man.
