Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has been ruled out for the rest of the season and could even miss the trip to the World Cup in Russia, Mirror reports.
The Germany international's back injury is far worse that it was originally thought and he could have played his last game for the Reds.
The 24-year-old, whose contract will expire at the end of the season, struggled for fitness as he missed the Champions League quarter final first leg against Manchester City in midweek.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had stated Can was very close to playing but appears a relapse occurred which could affect his trip to Russia in two month's time.
It is a double blow to the Anfield giants as Klopp had wanted to pick the German midfielder for the Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison at the weekend.
England midfielder Jordan Henderson has also been banned for the return leg against City after a booking in Wednesday's 3-0 win.
