Super Eagles players and officials are currently at the presidential villa for a farewell meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, ahead of their trip to Russia for the World Cup.
The president is set to wish the Nigerian contingents well on their way to their sixth participation at football’s biggest showpiece.
The meeting would be held hours before the Green and White men are due to fly to London to honour a pre-tournament friendly against England at Wembley Stadium on June, 2.

After the match on Saturday, the delegation will fly into Bad Tatzmannsdorf, a city in Austria, then play another pre-World Cup match against the Czech Republic at the Rudolf Tonn Stadium on June, 6.
The crew will spend eight days at the world-renowned Avita Resort before flying to Russia to compete for honours at the Mundial.
The German tactician has revealed he would announce his final 23-man list that will represent Nigeria at the showpiece in June.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the Super Eagles played a disappointing 1-1 draw with the Democratic Republic of Congo in Port Harcourt.
