Nigerian police officer allegedly bites young lady, smashes her phone

- A Nigerian lady has taken to the social media platform to reveal what some police officers did to her

- According to her story, the police men were not dressed in uniforms yet they assaulted her for standing by her rights

- The video has since gone viral on the internet causing media outrage

Just recently, NAIJ.com reported the news of how a lawyer shared a video of some police men who harassed him along the road side. According to the story, he claimed they were working based on orders by an unknown National Assembly member. This is however a growing trend in Nigeria today as stories similar to this about officers of the law mistreating citizens pop up everyday.

Yet another person has come out to share her own bitter experience with some people who claimed to be police officers. Identified as Adedoyin, she took to her Instagram page to narrate how she, her boyfriend and her sister were assaulted by the said officers who requested for their ID cards. According to her, when her sister tried to exercise her fundamental human rights, she was slapped for being rude by a lady who was also one of the police officers.

Posting videos and photos from the incidence, she wrote: "I never took d campaign against Police brutality serious bcos av never had direct encounter with dem until dis night. My boyfriend came visiting so I accompanied him to his car and decided to do some chitchat in d car wen suddenly a black golf car with no plate number parked beside us nd started asking questions after claiming to b police officers ( dey were on mufti and I swear dey looked like kidnappers or armed robbers sef) i told dem dat i was in front of my house and dats my boyfriend, dey asked y he did not enter nd talk inside if he was actually my boyfriend."
